Community Values & Expectations

Our Community Values

Safety, Respect, Responsibility

At CLMS, we use PBIS, a research-based framework,  that utilizes a tiered structure to support students' behavioural, academic, social, emotional, and mental well-being. By implementing PBIS, our school aims to enhance social-emotional skills, academic achievement, and a conducive school atmosphere. It serves as a method to cultivate a positive, consistent, fair, learning environment where all students succeed and flourish.
Our PBIS framework is designed around our collective community values which puts people and relationships first. Through our three key expectations of safety, respect and responsibility, expected behaviours are explicitly discussed and taught.
Through regular positive verbal feedback and positive tickets, community members are recognized for meeting expectations.

Land Acknowledgment

Rocky View Schools would like to acknowledge the land and recognize all the Indigenous Peoples whose footprints have marked these lands from time immemorial. Together, we can learn and honour the Ways of Knowing of Indigenous Peoples for all future generations.
